THE ROMPS
The "Les Gambades" collection is a nod to the place of the same name.
It is a collection that combines solid oak and metal. The tabletop is composed of a 7cm thick solid frame and a 3.5cm solid panel, all made from "fine carpentry" grade oak, which may have some small imperfections (knots, cracks). Once assembled, the top is aged by sandblasting.
The base is made of 15 x 1cm metal, folded at the bottom and welded at the top. It is powder-coated (baked paint) with a textured finish for extreme durability.
The blend of two materials (wood and iron) provides a sense of solidity (tabletop) and lightness (legs).
